Children's Liturgy of the Word
Available most Sundays from September-April at St. Mary of the Lake (11:00), St. John Paul II (11:30), and Most Precious Blood (10:30). Children ages 3-7 will be called forward after the Opening Prayer to receive a blessing. They will then go to another part of the church with a Virtus-certified catechist to hear the readings proclaimed using child-friendly language and enjoy an interactive homily specifically designed for our youngest brothers and sisters. They will return to sit with their family after the Offertory Hymn.
Children's Masses
Children's Masses will be offered multiple times throughout the year at St. Mary of the Lake (11:00), St. John Paul II (11:30), and Most Precious Blood (10:30). Our faith formation students will proclaim the First and Second Readings and the Responsorial Psalm.
The full schedule for the 2026-2027 faith formation year will be released this summer. "CL" indicates that Children's Liturgy of the Word for children ages 3-7 will be held. "Mass" indicates that there will be a Children's Mass. Lines in red indicate weekend on which no Children's Liturgy of the Word or Children's Mass will be held due to a holiday break.
